Mods
Mods was a group in London who had a group of people following a 'style'. They are a subculture which was formed in the late 1950's to the start of the 1060's. The way they stood out was through their clothes and what vehicle they drove. They were mostly seen wearing parker jackets with their own vesper scooters.
Interests
-They would normally in to the genres of African American soul, R&B ect
-They had a smart and classy look with dress sense and would also wear shades
-They loved their vespers usually have a unique scooter to others by the way they are customized
- The subculture also were known for the way they did their hair
Rival Sub culture
They had a rival subculture gang known as the rockers.The Mods and rockers had many conflicts between each other and most cases they would end up fighting. The rockers dressed dressed almost completely opposite to the mods, they would wear black leather jackets and have there biker gang look. Mods mostly wore designer suits whilst rockers had the leather jackets copying the Elvis style.They were the division youth culture in the early 1960s
